| Recht flott ist der Editor ConTEXT von Eden Kirin aus Zagreb/Kroatien. Syntaxhighlighting ist dank selbst zu erstellender und schon vorhandener Highlighter-Dateien kein Problem. Der Editor ist multilingual und kann so ziemlich alles, was ein ausgewachsener Editor können muß. Die Syntaxdateien müssen nur ins Verzeichnis 'Highlighters' entpackt und ConText danach neu gestartet werden.

| Ultraedit is unfortunately shareware but it is a good editor. Anyone who would like to try it, can do so. Ultraedit is praised above all for its number of tools and options.

Synedit is an open-source editor with syntax-highlighting. Today many editors are based on synedit sources. The syntax files must be placed as follows:
- 'hamster Keywords' into the directory '../Clip Text'
- Hamster.kwd you import from within the program in Files|Preferences|Editor Setup in the menu Keywords and then you store it in 'default profiles' first as profile.
- H.Modul and H.Script belong in the directory '../Templates' and are the templates for scripts.
| Synedit war mal 'nur' ein Editor mit Syntaxhighlighting, heute basieren viele Editoren auf den Synedit-Sourcen. Die Syntaxdateien für den old-style-Synedit müssen wie folgt plaziert werden:
- 'Hamster Keywords' kommt in das Verzeichnis '../Clip Text'
- Hamster.kwd wird im Programm über Files|Preferences|Editor Setup unter dem Tag Keywords importiert und dann unter 'Default Profile' zuerst mal als Profile abspeichert

| Anyone with an installation of emacs can use it easily. Emacs is however especially no editor, whom one edits times evenly to files used and only therefore installs it. :-)
| Naja, wer emacs schon hat, kann es gern benutzen. Emacs ist aber eben kein Editor, den man mal eben zum Dateien editieren benutzt und ihn nur deshalb installiert. :-) Link

| HsEdit is based on the technology of Synedit and is a special editor only for hamstersripts. Only disadvantage for German and English speakers: Its menu is completely in French. But the Sources for Delphi are attached and the Synedit Sources are open-source. Who translates into German or English? ;-)
| HsEdit basiert auf der Technologie von Synedit und ist ein spezieller Editor für Hamstersripte. Einziger Nachteil für uns Deutsche: Seine Menüführung ist komplett in französisch. Aber die Sourcen für Delphi liegen bei, die Synedit-Sourcen sind ebenfalls frei im Netz zu laden. Wer übersetzt ins deutsche oder englische? ;-)
